Influential Women in History Research Paper

For our research project this year, you will be writing a 3-4 page research paper on your choice of an influential woman from history. You may choose an historic figure or a contemporary one. Your paper must be at over half a page on the last page to count as a page. The Works Cited page does NOT count as a page!
Your paper will need to meet the following criteria:
Have a strong thesis statement about your chosen influential woman
Be based on 3 credible research sources
2 from library databases
1 of your choosing (if internet, evaluated for credibility)
Contain the following paragraphs--
Introduction with thesis
2-3 paragraphs on your person’s biography/early career
2-3 paragraphs on your person’s success/influence on society
Conclusion
Have proper textual citations to your sources (MLA Format)
Have a Works Cited page (on a separate page at the end)
NOT be plagiarized from the internet, another student, or any AI

The Research Paper will count as FOUR Assessment grades on Fourth Quarter. It’s very important that you complete it and do your best work on it.

Search for your person’s name Filter results by Content Type = Biographies Browse the list of results Pay attention to how many words are in the article Once you have found one: Choose Send To → Google Drive Go to Google Drive → Recent Find the two files that were just sent there They will be saved as Word Documents We need to open them and then resave them as Google Docs Open, then File → Save as Google Docs Once you have done this step: delete the old Word versions! Move your new Google Doc into your research folder.
